Objectives

Behaviors that are considered problem behaviors in children with special needs actually arise from the difficulties they experience in sensory processes. With our project; In addition to the Sensory Integration programs implemented in our country, it is aimed to improve the basic competencies of our teachers thanks to new cross-border learning outcomes. For the mental and physical health and well-being of our students;

-Loss of repetitive movements (turning, hitting, spitting)

-Improvements in sensory processes and language skills and pronunciation

-Improvement in impulsive eating and feelings of hunger and fullness

-Increase in motor skills (such as balance, throwing and catching a ball)

-Awareness of sensory sensitivities

-Increased attention span

-Increased social harmony and acceptance with a decrease in problem behaviors

-The aim is to increase eye contact and reduce sensitivity to touch. In short; The concrete goals we want to achieve with our project are;

We want to apply Sensory Integration Applications in the Treatment of Students' Problem Behaviors.

We want to increase social adaptation and social acceptance by minimizing the behavioral problems of students with autism, visual impairment, attention deficit and cerebral palsy in the disadvantaged group.

We want to guide families in their struggle with the inadequacy of their children's basic skills and to experience innovative methods by improving the basic competencies of teachers.
